How do you decide which jobs or assignments are suitable for candidates? |
| |
During your initial consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss in detail the type of job or assignment you are looking for, your salary expectations and the type of organisation you would prefer to work in. Our Consultants have achieved a long and established working relationship with the majority of our clients and therefore have an in-depth knowledge of the working environment. If the client is a new addition to our portfolio, every effort is made to visit the client or when this is not possible due to geographic restrictions, a full background to the client is obtained. By getting to know as much about our candidates and clients as possible, we are able to make more accurate ‘matches’ and recommendations.

Will you help me prepare for interviews? |
| |
You will be briefed thoroughly prior to any interviews. We will give you as much information about the position, the responsibilities, the company, department and dress code as well as details of the salary offered and any benefits. We also provide our candidates with advice to help you prepare for interviews. We also contact both our candidates and clients following an interview to get valuable feedback from both perspectives.

What do I do following an interview? |
| |
An interview is a two way process allowing both the interviewer and interviewee the opportunity to get to know each other. Your Marketplace Consultant will contact you following the interview to see how it went and give you feedback from the client. Your feedback is essential to get you to the next stage of the interview process. If you have any queries or concerns, then we can advise on the most appropriate course of action. Often, if the first interview went well, a second interview will be arranged. This will probably be with a different contact within the company and will therefore require as much, if not more effort from you if you want to be offered the position or to move on to a third interview, presentation or offer of the position.
